And yet, hunter2 is still not censored.
Back to the topic at hand, I just bought Chronicle on Blu-Ray, but the labels make it to be an extended cut. Having not seen it when it was in theaters (the only English showing was at 10 at night and was around for all of a week), does anyone prefer the movie one way or the other?

The Wrong Move
I really wanted to like this. Seeing a Fassbinder regular and one of the principle actors of Our Hitler along with Natassja Kinski all directed by Wenders wasn't as great as an experience as I had hoped. Plotless and aesthetically as well as emotionally uninspiring, the second film in the road trilogy just isn't worth it.
Tomorrow We Move
An odd, and occasionally inspired old fashion madcap comedy that just seems generally unsuited to Akerman's directing style. Like a lot of French film, it's all set in dusty Parisian apartments and concerns itself with a pianist and writer of erotic fiction. All in all not that great.
Perfectly cast, uncomfortable and ultimately brilliant commentary on bourgeois lifestyle that may seem a little fantastical in its last act, but is topped off with two incredible plot devices. The performances are fantastic all around and Chabrol's direction from the start evokes tremors of uneasiness.
A very subtle movie with a surprisingly talented cast of young kids. It never dwells into melodrama like many of the films about transgenderism do (see Boys don't Cry). The characters are layered and very believable, which helps avoiding to demonize or antagonize characters. Some interior lightings were weak, but the overall aesthetic is simple and naturalistic.
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.
