You could say every children's movie, even Land Before Time got it up the ass.
Back when they had talent, shame.
Yeah, that about sums it up. My favorite hah, is somewhat a spoiler so I'll put it in black text.
Through contact, you can understand one another with this alien. He's been stranded on this planet for a while and is hungry. To of course he hangs people up like grapes and can justify it. I'm sorry, but that dumb bastard could have just as easily understood my thoughts and just as soon gone to a butcher shop or a farm to get fresh meat, that was more then plenty. If he's supposed to be this innocent being, why is he even considering the thought of eating humans?
There were a lot of moment s like that.
The dad shoots an M16 20 feet away from soldiers, blowing up a fuel truck (not hurting anyone), and not one soldier sees him or stops him from running away? The soldiers search the teachers house but not the school? The movie was filled with stupid things.
The movie the kids were making in the film looked better than the film.

Meeting evil
This movie was really bad. Its hard to know wether it was intentionally bad tho because a the really bizarre elements in the movie.
I enjoyed super 8 despite its shortfalls.
Black Narcissus (1947)
Sister Ruth has gone mad! Oh man has it been awhile since I have seen such a surprise classic, I'm glad I'm digging through TCM lately. Finding a lot I haven't seen prior and I usually enjoy them. That said this emotional thriller was just fantastic. Kathleen Byron should of made more films and been more of a notable actress then it appears she was, because the way she reeks despair, crazy and melodrama is just all levels of amazing.
An Invisible Sign (2010)
Jessica Alba is an actress who always has made me feel that she was just a by-the-numbers generic performer. However, here comes this small film and it's made me reconsider that. In An Invisible Sign we see Alba play the anxiety-prone, obsessive compulsive neurotic in Mona Gray. Within the characters conflict it brings out an interesting picture that seems engaging to say the least. The film does stagger a little by the time the piece is almost over, but I think it deserves it's place and rating.
My Name is Ivan (1962)
Andreď Tarkovski certainly wowed me on this one, just phenomenal film. I can't shake the feeling of how I NEED to see more of this director after this art piece.

That dad could do no wrong, what are you talking about?!
Vanishing on 7th Street
Holy **** I'm ready to beat my head against a wall. Best part of the movie: finding out Haydens name in the movie is Luke. He was Anakin in the first 3 episodes.
God Bless America
Great movie, and Roxy is so hot.
