I watched the movie "Pontypool" the other night. It's not without issues, and not for everyone, but was one of the more original zombie movies I've seen, and I really enjoyed it.
It's quite minimalist (and low budget), taking place almost entirely in a radio studio in the basement of a church in a small Ontario town.

Gowi has good tastes.
Aly, to briefly mention your topic from earlier: yes I noticed that aspect of the movie. It kind of reminded me of The Women and how an entire movie can be done without a single man and not have to resort to self degrading plot schemes. Of course I can think of a couple more that do portray interracial couples in the back burner such as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Browne, The Bodyguard or Jungle Fever.
The Women was condescending and horrible.
Glad you're back.
