This was brilliant. A somewhat novel concept managed to evolve into a movie that is at once funny, astounding, deep, charming, inviting and just holds a lot of little ingredients which, combined, create a film that far outclasses most any other children's film.

If there's any justice, this will go down as a classic.

I mean it's ****ing Die Hard, not Shakespeare. It delivered exactly what I was expecting of it.

The Last Stand

Good straight forward action movie with some meh effects. Peter Stormare still good at being the bad guy and Arnie's still got it. Also Johnny Knoxville was perfect for the role they put him in.

I thought I was going to have the whole theater to myself but about 10 minutes after the movie started someone else came in.

Sadly, nope. This was the least amount of people that have been in a theater with me though. I would think this would happen more often with how early I go to the movies, but nope!

Both times my party had a theater alone it was very late in the movie's run. With dad and sister, it was Knockaround Guys. With just dad it was The Scorpion King.

Weird how I remember that.

Im really glad I found out about Movie Pass. All these movies that I want to see would cost me a pretty penny.

Matinee showings, usually. A friend and I went to see The Truman Show in the local movie theater, then Episode 1 a few years later.

Most recently, I went and watched Wreck-It Ralph on my own (again, matinee), and was the only one in the theater until about thirty seconds before the movie started, when a father and his kids came in.
