BTW, that Overthrone link was pretty damn slick considering it's American Black Metal.
Metalfest was awesome before they started getting Ice-T and such as their headliners. I saw a video from one of the headliners a year or two ago, and there were at most 30 people there. Sad, really... they had a lot of great bands make their US debuts there.

But yeah, I haven't been on this thread in awhile and I'm checking out some of the stuff I haven't heard. It is an excellent thread.

Overthrone is two of my friends' band. I'm pretty impressed by what they've done. Their Declarations of Seccession album is excellent.

I had thought I had commented on this before. I'm going to go through a lot of the posts and look at your suggestions Nuffy. You have a lot of stuff I'm digging, and I need to greatly improve my somewhat limited metal vocabulary. Great work man.

Ya thanks, just keep an eye out for this thread. It's not really daily, but i try to get an update every few days.

As for the Female Vocals....what are you looking for specifically? I mentioned Darkestrah a couple pages back. They're a Black Metal band with a female vocalist; their stuff is pretty top notch BM.

There's also Krypteria, but i can't remember who i was talking to about them...mabe Der_Lex.?? Anywho, check them out if you don't already know of them.
