Longest Bre? Wtf?

I was playing last night, and ac/dc's let there be rock (live) version popped up and man, i got a blister on the tip of my finger from shredding so damn long, we got over 100,000 points in the bre with just three of us in there, I dont know about you, but that had to be the longest damn bre ive seen and played in any song. I over heated my damn finger and now have a white heat blister from them damn plastic frets. lol.

How the hell did you manage to get a blister? I just use two hands on the solo buttons, easy and loads of points.

I sometimes get sad when i hear what we could potentially be playing during a BRE if it weren't set up to be a BRE.

Nobody else uses that crap guitar, sorry.

And, personally I seldom bother with BRE's unless I happen to be close to a cutoff - it's not worth the excessive wear on my equipment.

You get 750 pts every 1.5 seconds of a BRE. No matter how many notes you hit, it's 750 pts every 1.5 seconds. So if you hit 1 note every 1.5 second, that note is 750 pts. If you hit 2 notes every 1.5, it's 375 a piece, 3 notes is 250...etc etc. So you technically don't have to "shred" very fast at all. It just depends on timing. If you want to get the most out of your points, you start playing EXACTLY when the BRE starts to the very last millisecond it's about to end. Because i can't always play drums fast after my arm is tired from Let There Be Rock.

i didnt know that it gave a set amount of points, thank god, now i can slow down some, shoot, i was looking like zakk wylde when i did the shredding on the solo buttons. cool, man my finger hurts, i had some serious friction going, i feel stupid now. lol

Yeah, I use to do the same thing with drums. But I learned that from azurite. Watch IBite's BRE of LTBR Live. He is barely hitting notes for the first 20-30 secs but still ends up with 51k

Because I think I got over 10,000 points solo on that one alone, but I never quite reach it with Let There Be Rock's (Studio)
