It's whatever songs you want. The codes in the battery packs give add either $2.19 to your wallet on PSN or 160 MSP's to your XBL account.

I guess technically you wouldn't even have to use them on RB DLC if you didn't want to... but why wouldn't you want to?

Cool promotion, fail on non-USA delivery. I'd like to say it's a surprise, but it's sadly par for the course.

Dunno who handles the international parts of these deals over at MTVGames (IIRC it's not HMX's doing, so I'll pitch the blame on them instead), but they're doing a pretty piss-poor job when they can't even include the usual 9 Canadian provinces in the deal yet Rhode Island is part of it.

Or am I mixing contests with promotional offers again.

    Battery Locations..

I found batteries at 2 Circuit City locations near me (Central NJ). I HIGHLY recommend you all look there for a few reasons:

    1. The Battery Displays in Circuit City are usually in one small location, not multiple stands all over the store like in Best Buy and other larger retail chains. In both cases for me, the batteries were on the side of the battery display affixed to a carboard guitar display cut.

    2. Circuit City is bankrupt and selling everything CHEAP. These batteries are supposed to be 11.49 per 4-pack, and I got them for 6.89 (40% off). So after DLC redemption is like getting 4 batteries for about $5. A very good deal for the quality that these batteries are regardless.

    3. When one redeems the code it effectively gives you cash to buy anything you want. I've got an XBox 360 and with the MSP I've gotten from the promo (1920) I got a couple of songs as well as the Portal: Still Alive pack.

Also, you can call ahead and ask if they've got the Rock Band promotional Energizer Advanced Lithium Battery Display. They'll let you know fairly quickly and will even hold packs aside for you if they're low. I've bought 12 packs total and might get more just because it never hurts to keep a stock of long-life batteries around.

Hope this helps you all who are still looking for the batteries. To Circuit City I command thee!

i couldnt help but laugh when i saw how overpriced these batteries are. A 2 pack of AA lithiums were like $14 at a store that i buy other same sized packs at for $2

My D key (actually most of that region of the keyboard) doesn't work half the time, you'll have to excuse that

I bought the advanced lithiums for my camera, only--I rotate about a dozen rechargeable energizer batteries amongst my Wii-motes, RB instruments and Gamecube Wavebirds, otherwise.

PS--I bought my batts from the local Safeway.
