Cambridge, Mass. – July 10, 2009 - Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that three packs from new power group The Dead Weather, metal legends Judas Priest and indie rockers Big Dipper will be added to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content next week for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.
Additionally, back-catalog tracks from The Pixies, Foreigner, The Killers, Spinal Tap and more will be available in the Wii™ Rock Band Music Store, and tracks from Radiohead and Killswitch Engage will be available for Rock Band Unplugged.
New Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 System
The Dead Weather pack, available next week, will include “Hang You From the Heavens,” “No Hassle Night” and “Treat Me Like Your Mother” from the band’s debut album, Horehound. The three pack will be available July 14, coinciding with the album release from the super group, composed of Jack White of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs, Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes. In addition, three live songs from Judas Priest and three songs from Big Dipper will also be available July 14 for Rock Band fans.

These tracks will be available for purchase as part of the “Big Dipper Pack,” “Judas Priest Pack,” “The Dead Weather Pack 01” or as individual tracks for Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 systems.

Wii Back-Catalog Additions
Additionally, back-catalog tracks from The Killers, The Pixies, Spinal Tap, Maroon 5, Evanescence, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Foreigner, Thrice, The Devil Wears Prada and Dear and the Headlights will be available July 14 in the Wii Rock Band Music Store. These tracks come from the back catalog of Rock Band music already released to owners of Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 system. With the addition of these tracks, there are now more than 380 tracks in the Wii Rock Band Music Store.

Rock Band Unplugged Tracks for PSP® System
Rock Band Unplugged fans will enjoy the addition of Killswitch Engage’s “My Curse” and Radiohead’s “My Iron Lung” to the 19 tracks already available via the Rock Band Unplugged in-game music store for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system.

Rock Band 2 is available for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 system, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Wii console. The Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 system and Wii versions support downloadable content.
Downloadable content for Wii is purchased via the in-game Rock Band Music Store using Wii Points purchased through the Wii Shop Channel and can be downloaded to the system memory or to an SD card for additional storage. The tracks stream directly from the SD card for seamless play.
There are now more than 725 tracks available to date via disc and download purchase (complete list of tracks at www.rockband.com/music). Rock Band continues to satisfy music fans’ and gamers' voracious appetite for rock with more than 45 million paid downloads since its launch Nov. 20, 2007. The Rock Band Music Store allows players to preview and purchase downloadable individual music tracks and packs from the vast selection of offerings available to date without ever leaving the game as they build their own custom Rock Band library.
