The public reaction to the patriots "scandal" amazes me.

Everyone has always hated the pats, and now they have a reason to do so.

Why do people actually think this taints the Patriots previous superbowl wins? If I recall correctly, the pats opponents actually performed better as the game went on in those superbowl years.

As much as I agree the pats used illegal methods to steal signals (every nfl team tries to steal signal, but videotaping an opponent's sideline is illegal), I can't wait for this to be over.

Lay down the punishment, have the team serve it, and let this story fade away.
