Complete ^_^ Finally... felt good to get through those last two songs once and for all. Even though I saved overdrive for the parts I knew I'd have trouble with. Green Grass actually didn't give me as much trouble as it had before for some reason, I was just nailing things right. Flirting though, still kills me on the solo... overdrive saved my ass, but hey, its COMPLETED so I'm happy. :)

So finally got enough practice in that I've now moved up to the 'hard' and 'Expert' levels on guitar. I played a lot of songs slower than normal, and it took me a while, but now it's hard to go back to Medium. Expert is still too hard for me to play regularly, but I can get through most 'Hard' songs on my own which I'm pretty happy about. In the Solo Tour I only have 3 songs left that are giving me trouble, just have to practice some more to nail down the parts that give me trouble.
Still praying they add Solo/Online World tour as I'm still missing such a big part of the game still cause my friends simply can't make the time to regularly come over and play. *sigh*
Also, VERY excited that they announced some Nine Inch Nails content in the future. Still my favorite band, but at the same time.. still think they could have made better song selection choices. Almost any song from 'Broken' would have been preferred over 'The Collector' for me, but I'm not going to bitch too much, I'm still happy to get more NIN.

So... current status on my solo tour progress. Passed all of the tours on Easy. I'm on the last gig in medium Guitars, I think finished a few gigs on medium drums, and finished almost nothing on medium vocals. Pretty sure I can finish up Medium on the Guitars and Vocals when I get around to it, but the holiday visiting has cut into my playing time pretty much.
Finished up a few gigs (I think 2, and 1 song left in the 3rd) of the Hard Guitar setting, but the solo in 'The Hand That Feeds' killed me. Go figure... my favorite band, you'd think I'd know the song better. *sigh* I also think I'm going to have a real problem with vocals. I simply can't always match the pitch even if I know every word to the song and what I think is the right tone. So half the time I end up changing to humming and trying to match the arrow. Feels like I'm cheating but I'm simply not good at that portion.
I've made most of the Guitar Hero characters in some likeness or other and made different versions for drums and vocals with slight name chances (After someone on the board did a Judy Nails family, I kinda ripped their idea...). Only thing I wish is I could actually USE these made characters in my own band. I simply don't have the friends right now to play World Tour, so I REALLY pray they add a solo version of it.
I WANT to be able to keep playing random songs and working on a Tour. Right now Solo tour locks into most of the smae songs for a certain level of the gig, and there's never any of the bonus or download content in a set. I know I can choose the seperate gig, but still... I just want some random variety, and I'd rather not use quick play. I want to use the characters and bands I created. Really hope Harmonix shows some love and adds a patch and we don't have to wait years for this option.

So, got the call from EB on Friday Decenber 21st around 3:30 pm that my copy of Rock Band came in. Knowing WAY ahead of time that I wanted this, I was the first person to pre-order as soon as EB allowed it pretty much sometime back in August or something. Unfortunately for other Canadians, not too many copies came in, and not everyone will be able to Rock Out this Christmas. :(
Spent most of Friday night playing and getting used to the drums and other things. On Saturday took it to a friends place where we got to try out the World Tour for a few hours. All in all, great stuff so far, love the crowd singing along and other little touches they've put into the game.
But after having FINALLY played it, I'm in the same boat as others wishing I had the option for a Solo World Tour or to be able to form it online. I can't take my entire system apart and take it to peoples houses every night nor can they visit as often. I love it more in a group, yes.. but I still want to Rock Out when no ones around too...

Wow, haven't commented in ages. Picked up Rock Band 2, been playing it on and off. The break killed me, as I've pretty much had to move back down to 'Hard' difficulty. Can't get through that many expert songs anymore.
I like the Tour mode, but at the same time I just want the old list of songs too. Or just to be able to pick my guy in Qucikplay. Ahh well.
Excited for Offspring and the other tracks tonight. Should be good.
