Crazy that I haven't, but then if you know how much work the team's been doing since the launch of Rock Band you'd probably appreciate why. Always aiming to improve and innovate in all areas of our games I've been pondering the direction of animation and other visuals in our future products. I'd like to use my blog as a gauge of the opinion that ultimately matters the most - yours.
Here's what I'd like you to comment me on.
What direction would you like to see the visual experience of our games go in? More realistic? More fantastical? More 2D animation? More characters on screen at once? Outside shots of the venues you play in? Crazier cameras? Feel free to leave me any suggestions that are animation/camera/cinematography/character style related.

Today, I want to give a big shout out to my hard working and
talented team. This is the biggest team of animators I've lead on a
project and it's awesome to have such a creative bunch around me.
Everyone has a specialist area they are responsible for and it has to
be that way because there is SOOOOO much going into RockBand that my
head isn't big enough to fit it all in (..Horse says he
disagrees...hmmm) My team consists of Jeff who's on drums, Riseon on
guitar, and John on vocals animation. There is also Horse who deals
with the tremendous volume of motion capture data and I trust him to
handle it, mostly because he looks like King Leonidas from the movie
"300"
We also have facial animation specialist Kerry who has been
making our character's truly come to life alongside lipsyncher Tony.
Kerry draws the wierdest characters I've ever seen and we have some
amazing doodles on the whiteboards in the animation pit.

Hi!
I'm Kelly and I'm repsonsible for making everyone move on screen
like the inner rock stars that you have, waiting to burst out. Wherever
your tastes fit in on the rock spectrum, this game will blow you away.
Visually, there's been nothing close to this ever done before. I'll be
posting some of the trials and tribulations, and a lot of the success
my team have had in bringing cool moves and a true rock feel to the
characters in the game.
These are exciting times in the land of rock....

RB is mainly about music, of course, but the visuals help set the atmosphere and are a part of the whole experience.
What would you like to see in future games that we don't do now, or could do better?
