Another great post! For the song... "I'm not like everybody else" by The Kinks. Mostly because I can't play baseball worth a crap so I am not like everybody else who's on that field...

That is some interesting samples you provided. So, if Karang ever calls me for an interview I will make sure to follow these words of wisdom... Ahhh, hell, what am I saying, I'm too old to care if they like me anymore.

Interesting. I have always thought coming up with a name everyone can agree to is the hardest part of becomeing a band.

Interesting... Paraphrasing: "Times have changed and recording enough songs for a CD is not necessary any longer". "Why stop what we are doing for a year of pure bloody hell to put together a new album that only a handfull will give a **** about".

I guess albums are truly dead...

Thanks for the Interviews

...AND seven months later the kitchen is finally done... 30k was the final amount and I had to finish it myself. It's so hard to find good contractors these days. I found out that "Dollar" has a habbit of buying extra stuff and Lowes and then returning the extra stuff and keeping the money... so glad we got rid of him. I had to finish up the electricity myself... Well, what ever. All I really wanted to say was the kitchen is done with the exception of painting the trim white, which I will do sometime this week but now my 360 red ringed so I thought it ironic that we lost a contractor over Rock Band (well RB was the final straw with him) and now that the kitchen is done we lost the 360 and thus no Rock Band. I guess I am not meant to enjoy both of them at the same time, huh?

Hellion, you really have a way with words and I have enjoyed your writting style with everything I have seen by you. I can't wait to dive into this series.

Oh, and I prefer Well Vodka and Cranberry Juice... yeah, yeah, a girly drink... over Well Vodka and Cornbeef Hash. But, hell, I will try just about anything once and if it don't kill me I may try it more than once.

Well, get this... We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, our house is about as fucked as a house can be. Anyway, wednesday, a friend of ours lost her job, so she brought over bloody mary's for her and Alesia to share while they were working on the house. Where the crew tore out the fireplace, Alesia, Josh W. and a few others decided to clean up the yard so we didn't have to play the crew to do it... they should have loaded the trash diretly into trucks, but since they were being paid by the hour for this particular job they thought they would double their money.

Well, back to the story... Alesia ran to Lowes for the crew a time or two and took off two truck-loads of trash. That afternoon, after killing two bottles of mix and half a bottle of vodka, they dccided to play some Rock Band.

They asked "Dollar" to turn off his radio, which was on a rock station, so they could play... Well, he did, and they did. "Dollar" the contractor in charge, got pissed that Alesia and our friends were drinking and play Rock Band in our own house and walked off the job! What a bastard... So, Rock Band costs us a contractor and we had to find someone else to finish.

Yesterday, we finished cleaning up the yard and more friends were helping us. We asked the guy if he minded if we jam to Rock Band while he worked and he said no. Hell, he even came and sang one song to the laughter of his crew... So, Rock Band cost us a contractor, but made us a friend. They are here now, I bet a lunch we will have to turn on the 360 and jam...

Well, worked on the Kitchen today until midnight. Kenny came over to help me run wiring and Amanda came along to talk to Alesia. We then decided to do a little Rock Band. I must say, Smokin' by Boston is much more fun with a full band, the organ didn't bother me at all.

Playlist
Smokin'
More than a Feeling
Truckin'
Casey Jones
Roam
Black Hole Sun
Interstate Love Song
Sex Type Thing
I think I am paranoid
Why do you Love Me
In Bloom
Wanted Dead or Alive
I Need a Miracle
Interstate Love Song
Dani Calf

went to bed at 2am, got up at 6 to go to work... Kenny had to get up at 5. Rock Band is a sleep stealer.

Downloaded Boston last night. I was afraid to turn on my 360 because I had a chimney torn down in our house. The house is over 100 years old and the chimney was about to fall anyway. So, right now there is coal dust, soot, and mortar dust everywhere. But, I had to check out the Boston pack. So, I cleaned as well as I could around the system and the system itself, turned it on. Dusted off the Strat and got the songs.

The songs were a lot of fun… Smokin’ was a little weird with the change from guitar to organ during the solo. I think I would rather have stood around than play the organ… but that is just me.

Anyway, I had time to play each song one time and then “Why do you Love Me” one time and “I need a Miracle” one time before I had to shut down and do some work at home. Plus, I didn’t want to push my luck with the dust in the air. I am hoping to get things cleaned up in a week or two and get back to gaming with friends.

Well, its been a while since I have had a group over to jam. Been playing solo for the past month now and playing by yourself is just boring. Its much more fun for me to play this game with others in the room. I briefly tried online, but it just wasn't that much fun, especally since I am not very good. Hard gives me a very hard time, three stars and I feel lucky.

Anyway, I have played the hell out of the new Greatful Dead songs, love that six pack. Can't wait for Boston.

Alesia and I went out bar hopping last Thursday and while she was drunk dialing all of her friends, I sat down and played RB. Got three stars on "I need a miracle" on hard, felt very proud.

Saturday, it was her turn to drive. Got home that night at 3am and I cranked up the 360, three stared the songs again, only this time on easy... yeah, alcohol fucks with you. Don't drink and drive kids, even a little can mess up your RB, so you know it will fuck your driving up bad.

Chad came over yesterday to chat and we got to playing. A couple of beers and songs later Adam dropped by and he and my wife Alesia joined into the fray. We started playing as a band about 7pm and finally crashed about 3am. So, it is now 3pm. I have had four hours of sleep and it is all I can do to keep my eyes open, but as soon as I get home I will be booting up the ol' 360 instead of napping. I figure there is plenty of time to sleep when I am dead.
