"Im me, baby"

I just cant seem to stop listening to Undone (The Sweater Song) by Weezer latley. As I hummed the guitar solo this morning, I decided to write a personal thesis on why the song is so darn catchy.

5. The drummer's stance 3:13 into the music video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=wqgN0T6f1kg

4. The first 40 seconds just seem to feel just like a fun moment at a party, it really adds a sense of humour and humility into the song.

3. The end disingrates perfectly into echos and noise, leaving a good taste in your mouth.

2. Its off the freaking Blue Album. And Im sure theres other albums that consider themselves blue (though honestly, they come off as navy imatators) but this is the Blue Album

1. To whatever taught those 2 boys how to sing "Ive come Undonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeee!" major thanks. They hit it every time.

Im in a Weezer mood so I fired up some El Scorcho action. Heres my theory behind El Schorcho's Madness:

5. The beggining sounds like 5 losers hanging out, and thats exactly what it is.

4. River looks completely lost 13-15 seconds into the music video. Like completely out to lunch http://youtube.com/watch?v=7CEqVTWo4EI

3. The riff sounds like The Sweater song with downs syndrome.

2. The drum beat/solo parts ("Listerning to Cio Cio San!")

1. The song is a perfect blend of confused, scared, and halarious. Perfect example is "Im alot like you!"

Oh, Weezer used to be classic. Too bad everything after Pinkerton was mostly weak sauce with some mild drops of genius

Hey guys, ever wanted to know my favorite 100 songs of all time, my top 10 favorite quotes from rock music, my top 20 radiohead songs and such halarious lists as the rop 10 songs I cant listen to before going to bed or the top 5 reasons I cant stop listening to The Sweater song?

Probably not, but Im doing them anyways. In the next few weeks or so, Im going to be updating my blogs with these lists that should be a fairly intresting read, since Im not doing a basic "list" but actually going into the reasons behind most of my choices.

The first ones should be up this week, and I should be doing about 10 of these just for fun over the next few weeks, though I may put more than one in each blog entry.

If theres any requests for lists you want to see made, please comment!

Awesome.

Wont Get Fooled Again is the single greatest song they could have put in this game, In Bloom is a Nirvana song that dosent suck, Say it Aint So is awesome, Paraoid is a dissapointing choice for BS, but still great, Suffergate City should have fun vocals as should Main Offender, I could care less about Mississippi Queen or Rockaway BEach, but Dont Fear the Reaper is gold.
