The Story
As a teenager, Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows was enough of a delinquent to get kicked out of two different Huntington Beach high schools. As an adult he fronts this hard-rock band, which defines itself as politically conservative and claims to love fast cars, money and the flag.
Appearing on their fourth album, “Almost Easy” was their first song to feature the trademark sound of choral vocals by all five members of the band.
Trivia
Bassist Johnny Christ’s stage name was supplied by bandmate Zacky Vengeance, who was looking for something that was guaranteed to tick people off.

Practice your “metal gallop” because it gets quite a workout on this tune. This is a perfect metal song for intermediate guitarists: It won’t kill you like “Panic Attack” or “Painkiller,” but it will help your mastery of zippers, hammer-on/pull-offs, and death-defying runs up the fretboard.
