The Story
Along with “Jailbreak” this was one of the early AC/DC tracks that didn’t become a hit (or even get released) in America until years after it was recorded. Yet this bad-guy’s anthem has since become known as a classic AC/DC track.
Among the notable moments here are Malcolm Young’s first-ever vocal solo (he does the low bits), and a shout-along chant that includes the names of AC/DC’s first two Australian albums, High Voltage and T.N.T. The song was a US hit a second time when Joan Jett covered it.
Trivia
In the popular '60s cartoon Beany & Cecil, the villain Dishonest John carried business cards that said “dirty deeds done dirt cheap.” Angus Young watched the cartoon as a kid and borrowed that phrase for the song.
Gameplay Hints
This one extremely high on the fun scale, but the guitar solo is like “Green Grass & High Tides” times three. Do your finger exercises and make sure you’re calibrated because the notes come at you in rapid-fire.
Where Are They Now?
Still doing dirty deeds.
