The Story

Visions is the first song Abnormality wrote. The lyrics, written by the drummer Jay prior to the band forming, are about the tragic death of Pantera guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.

The majority of the music for the song was written on bass by the lead guitarist Michael while playing in a previous band with Jay. And yes, that is a woman singing.

Trivia

All Abnormality songs have been recorded at the Morgue Studio, Michael's home studio.

Gameplay Hints

Drums – Play this song a few times with No-Fail on to get a feel for the Overdrive placement (which will help you get through the song) and speed changes. Don’t go wild in the fills, you’ll need the 1-2 seconds of rest to keep going. This is arguably the hardest drum song in the game: Pray that your hands don’t fall off.

Guitar & Bass – At least one reviewer has stated that this is the hands-down hardest guitar song in the game. There aren’t any solo sections because both Guitar and Bass feel like a giant solo section….much of it without the benefit of hammer-ons. Good luck!

Vocals – Be thankful to whatever god you believe in that you are the vocalist on this track.

Where Are They Now?

Abnormality is finishing up its first full-length release and can be found playing shows locally around the New England area.
