So recently I came across some decent photoshop clones, especially a nice one for linux called gimp. After playing with it a little, I managed to make some pretty sweet signature banners for myself. Then I started making wallpapers, and soon after I was approached to start making custom signature banners for people.
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed making them, and now I have made quite a few, and always have messages waiting for me about more whenever I log in. The weridest part is that I really do like doing it.

Invincible - Muse
I really love the delivery of the vocals in this song. My favorite song overall right now. Simple but emotional and builds to a climax with an AMAZING guitar solo. To top it off, the music video is sweet and the HAARP version of the song is even better and more emotional than the album version.
Heart in a Cage - The Strokes
I love love LOVE the guitar hook at the beginning of the song. It is brilliant and catchy. Honestly it sells the whole song to me. I don't think this addiction is justified, since the bridge of the song is underwhelming at best, and doesn't live up to those magnificent guitar moments.
Take A Bow - Muse
My forum name is taken from here. The central line of the song "What we've become is contrary to what we want; Take a bow." just gets me. There is something about the delivery of the line, the echo effects following it, or the feelings in Matt's voice that make me love this bit, and by extension, the whole song.
Bodysnatchers - Radiohead
This song has been stuck in my head for about a week straight, so I listen to it constantly. I don't have a concrete reason for this one, other than the general sweetness of Radiohead.
The Scientist - Coldplay
The lyrics get this one for me. Chris delivers them with hauting emotion, and I feel the emotion pouring from this song. Top those amazing vocals off with a slow, heartfelt musical backing, and the song is perfect.

I was listening to Knights of Cydonia the other day, and wondered if Matt Bellamy had gotten any acclaim for his wonderfuly energetic solo in that song. To my amazement, Q magazine listed it as one of the top 20 solos of all time.
Also featured on this list was "The Bends" by Radiohead, which surprised me but I can't argue with Johnny Greenwoods pulling the strings right off the guitar during his solos.
This week I have been listening to solos galore:
::Weekly Top Tracks::
1. Knights of Cydonia (Muse)
2. Bullet in the Head (Rage Against the Machine)
3. Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)
4. Ball and Biscuit (The White Stripes)
5. Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin)

Love will tear us apart was an amazing song, as was the 70's band that influenced what seems to be about half of modern alternative music. Linkin Park, P.O.D. Rage Against the Machine, the Cure, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, AFI, Interpol, and Bloc Party were all influenced by this little known band.
::Weekly Top Tracks::
1. Slow Hands - Interpol
2. Broken Bride Pt I - Ludo
3. Love will tear us Apart - Joy Division
4. Dark of the Matinee - Franz Ferdinand
5. Glorious - Muse

So the new forum is both buggy and slow. My PM's are gone, and the rocker profiles seem to be as buggy as the forums.
