The Dance Epidemic is Here: Electric Six Wants You!

"I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar, waaahhh!" Yes, it's time to get good and flashy with those manic Detroit dance-rockers, Electric Six. If you don't know the band, just put your inhibitions aside and prepare for foir a socially irresponsible good time. Along with the international underground hit "Gay Bar," our three-pack includes the equally anthemic "I Don't Like You" and "Dance Epidemic," and ties in nicely with the national tour that the band is mounting as we speak.

A bit of history: originally known as the Wildbunch, the band spent a few years rocking around Detroit, gathering such fans as Jack White who sang on one of their singles. The move to dance music happened because none of them could really dance. They preferred to sit around and eat pizza, so playing disco music somehow seemed perfect. They now believe that by rocking hard enough, they will save the world from Communism.

If you really want to do these songs right, try to find some video footage of the group's frontman, Dick Valentine. Any given tune might find Valentine playing air guitar, sticking his microphone into his bandmates' faces, pounding the walls for no apparent reason, yelling "solo!" when it's time to solo, or even dropping to the floor and doing push-ups. None of these moves are guaranteed to improve your score, but they certainly won't hurt.
