Iron Maiden DLC

We've kept you waiting so long for an Iron Maiden package that even a six-pack wouldn't be enough. So prepare yourself for the Iron Maiden 12-pack, gathering metal landmarks from 1982's "The Number of the Beast" to a quartet of scorching, brand-new live tracks. The package ties in with Flight 666, the band's concert film which is being released on Blu-ray disc, double DVD and double soundtrack CD.
Live recordings of "Aces High," "Hallowed Be Thy Name," "Fear of the Dark" and "Iron Maiden," featured on Flight 666, are among those available for download in the Rock Band Music Store June 9. The other 8 songs were amongst those featured on the band's Somewhere Back in Time World Tour during the first leg of which Flight 666 was filmed. This will mark the first time master recordings from Iron Maiden have been made available on Rock Band games. "Metal fans have wanted this one for a long time, and we've answered them with some of the greatest Maiden songs, both live and recorded," said Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of Electronic Games & Music for MTV Networks Music Group.
Maiden manager Rod Smallwood comments; "Fans have been asking us to do something with Rock Band for some time and this seemed to be a perfect opportunity. Our recent Somewhere Back in Time tour was perhaps the most enjoyable one we have ever undertaken, and certainly the most successful with almost two million people catching the shows round the world. So it just seemed a good idea to make some of the songs we played available now so fans can play along with the band on the tour. Then we shall see if they can keep up with the band!!"

No revelations, and no rime of the ancient mariner? Even Bruce Dickinson admitted that the song he likes to sing in concert best is, hands down, Rime of the Ancient Mariner in the Flight 666 do***entary. This is like releasing Led Zeppelin for Rock Band and leaving out Stairway to Heaven and Whole Lotta Love. Too Bad, Really. I have been looking forward to this.

This is similar to when Rush - Moving Pictures was coming out, all the hype for the tuesday release only to find you cant get it on Playstation Network until Thursday, appears to be the same situation here. Why doesnt Harmonix/PSN announce their specific date so folks dont sit stressing for 2 additional days.
Anyways, I cant wait for the download tomorrow but hey Harmonix, Iron Maiden has sold over 75 MILLION albums, dont they deserve their own version of RB? If Aerosmith and Metallica (two of the biggest sellouts ever) get their own game, why not Maiden (band who kept their dignity), think there arent millions of IM fans who wouldnt buy the game?
Cant wait for Beatles Rock Band, that looks to be your greatest work ever. Even my non-gamer Beatle fanatic buddy cant wait to come over and play it.
But still, imagine a classic Iron Maiden stage setup with all the bells and whistles and lots of songs and top it off with
EDDIE!!!!

Granted, there are other classic maiden songs (Where Eagles Dare) that should have been included in the setlist, but you can't always please everyone.
